Unexpected Bridals...

There is quite a cool story to go along with this. You see, this beautiful couple got married the same day as C+S, just an hour later. As I finished up the photos for C+S, her mother approached me, and very quietly said in her Australian accent, "Excuse me, Our photographer didn't show up." It took me a minute to register what she was saying, because in my head I was thinking, 'what kind of photographer doesn't call, even if there has been an emergency?' and 'OH MY, I don't know how I would handle this situation if I was the bride' etc and when it finally did register I was like "OH!! ABSOLUTELY! LETS GO!" I felt like a total superhero. We got some great frames to boot. I mean, really. When the phrase you use most often while photographing is, "OK, um, guys? Can you stop kissing for just a minute?", you know its gonna be good...

This shoot was a blast. I mean seriously, how many times do you get a girl who can smile with her eyes on command. Most models can't do that. I had a lot of fun with her, and, as you can see, even more fun editing the photos. She is a knockout.

I have been very blessed to photograph very cute boys this year. Mitchell has the killer combo of really dark hair and either blue of pale green eyes. I went back and forth trying to figure it out as I edited his photos. Anyway, I was always a sucker for that in my single days. I find it really odd that I married a guy who looked absolutely NOTHING like the guys I dated prior to Damon...Huh, weird... I digress... Mitchell!! Enjoy! (I think his glasses are awesome, don't you?)

See? I can't tell if they are blue or green... Hmmm. I'm goin' with blue... I think...

This guy is my buddy. He plays violin and piano, and we have played violin together on numerous occasions for ward and stake music events. I got to spend A LOT of time when we were stand partners for the stake musical 1856. He is a awesome musician and cute ta boot. He's like cat nip for high school girls.

I photographed their reception here in the Springs. Carissa is a truly classic beauty. Her dress and vail had a vintage feel to it, her bouquet was classic white roses, even the wedding invites were so chic in black and white. Thus, I was inspired to go with the classic, vintage looking, black and white photographs. (Don't worry Carissa and Fam, I have all the photos in color as well.) I was mainly there to photograph the dancing, and had a lot of fun doing it. Congratulations!

Hannah is one of those very few girls that can totally rock a pixie cut. She was so easy to photograph. A natural. One of those girls that has the looks and the brains, a total package. Hannah has adorable smart friends that were amazing. They really got her smiling, and as a result, I got some seriously great photos.

Pricing for Senior Portraits-

$125.00

Includes 1 hour in location of your chioce (I have lots of suggestions too), copyright of all images, 15 altered (black and white, sepia, ect) images, and 25 4x6 proofs in album.

$175.00

Includes 1 hour in location of your chioce, copyright of all images, 15 altered (black and white, sepia, ect) images, 25 4x6 proofs in album, and 50 graduation invitiations with envelopes. I will contact you in the beginning April to get the grauation ceremony information, and send them to you by the beginning of May.

I am able to 'air-brush' any blemishes if you wish, the first 5 images are free, after that, its $25.00 an hour.

These girls are adorable. Little Taylor is such a feisty thing. Nicole is sweet and genuine, and Kaylee is Kaylee. The ultimate girl, complete with a Zac Efron crush, love of all things sparkly, and a keen sense of fashion at the ripe old age of six...I think... Their mom is amazingly beautiful, so, therefore, are her girls...
